1. Conformance Status
This Website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.
2. Measures Taken
Harbinger Tribune takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML: Content is structured using semantic HTML5 elements (headings, lists, landmark regions) to enable accurate interpretation by assistive technologies including screen readers

- Alternative text: All informative images are provided with descriptive alternative text. Decorative images use empty alt attributes
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements, including navigation, links, and buttons, are accessible and operable via keyboard alone
- Skip navigation link: A "Skip to main content" link is provided at the top of each page for keyboard and screen reader users
- Focus management: Visible focus indicators are maintained for all interactive elements
- ARIA attributes: ARIA roles and attributes are used to enhance the accessibility of dynamic content and custom UI components
- Responsive design: The Website is responsive and functional across a range of screen sizes and devices
- Text resizing: Text can be resized up to 200% using browser settings without loss of content or functionality
- No autoplay: No audio or video content plays automatically
3. Known Limitations
We are aware of the following limitations and are actively working to address them:
- Some older articles imported prior to June 2026 may contain images without alternative text. These are being reviewed and updated progressively.
