3. Principles of Data Processing
We process personal data only where legally permitted or with your consent. We do not operate our own analytics or tracking tools, do not create user profiles, do not integrate advertising networks, and do not use social media plugins of any kind.
4. Server Log Files (Hosting)
Data processed: When you visit our Website, your browser automatically transmits data to the servers of our hosting provider, including: IP address, date and time of access, URL requested, data volume transferred, HTTP status code, browser type and version, operating system.
Purpose: Ensuring the secure and stable operation of the Website; detection and mitigation of cyber attacks; error diagnosis and technical maintenance.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in the secure operation of the Website.
Hosting provider: Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Vercel.
Third-country transfer: Vercel is headquartered in the United States. The transfer is carried out on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) pursuant to Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (Commission Adequacy Decision of 10 July 2023, (EU) 2023/1795). Retention period: Server logs are typically retained by Vercel for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted, unless specific security incidents require longer retention.
5. Database
Editorial content (articles, categories, metadata) is stored in a database operated by Supabase Inc. No visitor data is stored therein. A Data Processing Agreement is in place with Supabase. 6. Fonts
All fonts used on this Website are self-hosted on our servers and delivered from there. No connections to external font services (e.g. Google Fonts, Adobe Fonts) are established, and your IP address is not transmitted to any third party through font loading.
7. Local Storage – Cookie Consent

8. No Analytics or Tracking Technologies
We do not use web analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible), advertising networks, remarketing pixels, social media plugins, session replay tools, cross-site tracking mechanisms, fingerprinting technologies, or any other third-party tracking mechanisms. No user profiles are created and no data is processed for advertising purposes.
9. Minors
This Website is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
